This beautiful micro-lot comes from Finca La Valentina, a farm located in the foothills of Barú Volcano in the district region of Boquete, Panama. The plantation is made up of 12 hectares of land owned by the Osorio brothers. The two brothers decided to name the farm Finca La Valentina in honour of their mother, who along with their father encouraged them to restart the family tradition of coffee. In 2008, they began to manually select their varieties and to prepare specialty coffee in micro batches. We find this beautiful limited micro lot to be quite special and one of the best coffees we have tasted.
